Right, tomorrow i shall hopefully be doing my rear beam, taking it off, grinding it back and painting it, same to the ARB.
Who reckons i should have 2 ARB's?
And i might as well order some poly beam mounts whilst i'm at it, from floflex

id give the rear beam bolts all a good soaking in wd40 or plusgas overnight as ive had a few issues getting some off in the past
also ive found with the flowflex arb bushes you need to cut them to fit them

Ah fair enough, i had a hard enough time getting the rear shocks out the other day haha

Yeah i noticed that with my front ones. Meh the clamp holds it in anyways

ive had t cut a rear shock out of the rear beam before now as the bolt completey rusted into the lower shock mount

Do you rekon i should go for 2 ARB's?
I heard it makes a massive difference

Might aswell have two. I do now All it will do is stiffen up the rear end. That along with axle spacers which i will be getting some made up soon will make a good mod for track use, plus it will make it more stable. And as I have coilovers too, even better! lol

i know theyre a paint to get the bolts nearer the front of the car in though



deffo worth the bushes while your at it, might do the same soon then, take the entire beam off, clean it up fit the second arb and the mount bushes from flo flex

the mk9200 is the best we sell, good peice of kit, not worth the money though, we sell them at £159.99

It's the 9000, i didn't want the screens so i didn't go for the 9100 or 9200

I spent a few months looking for a headunit that had all the mod cons, but wasn't obvious and had a green glow to match the oem haha xD

Right, so due to insane insurance prices. I'm going to keep the 1.6 in and do the rest of the car up. So that way i can afford the insurance and have in on the road. And when the time comes (Probs when i'm 21) and i can afford the insurance for the 2.0 i'll drop it in. As it's ready to go in now lol. I'll just have to start it every now and then.

i cant wait to see this rear beam, are you grinding it down or sanding it?
I was just doing the anti role bar but dont know whether to use grinder or sumat else? i tried sanding it but that was taking ages so was thinking of grinding it but never grinded out before lol.

Dont grind it, if anything, use a wire wheel. That will clean it up nicely. How bad is it anyway? I'd personally just stick some hammerite on there. Job done then

The beam isn't really rusty, just needs cleaning up. But the ARB is pretty rusty to the point that the paint is peeling off
