just some pics of the mirror pods after being taken off the manual mirrors










was going to pop them on before going for my Birthday meal, but didnt find the time

but i did manage to fit my washer jets and the pipe work from the old bonnet, its been a few days since i could actually use them, will fit the casing tomorrow and hopefull give the car a wash and take some pics of it with the new bonnet

did you find fitting the washer jets a pain in the arse lol?

fitted both the mirror pods now, but broke the passengers glass, got a crack right down a third along it, sorta acts as them multi angle mirrors now, will put my non heated glass in it soon

but then i also snapped a clip when fitting the drivers, so had to strip the whole mirror down, which was very involving this turned out to be, fitted the new hinge and clip from my old manual mirror and its all good

they look great

some nice sparkle for you



also while i was in work, thought id abuse my staff discount a bit, bought some petrol blue 300ml can the other day, and today...



mobil 3000 5W30 engine oil, meant to be quite good stuff this, was the top of the range one atleast, discount only knocked it down a quid though

a fuel filter, used trade for this come down to a pound and something

oil filter again a quid or so and a new sump plug with washers
i also got matt the same oil and sump plug for his new Escort GTi, he is servicing it and replacing the bits it needs for the mot it failed on monday

i also fitted my spare 2.0 maf as i seeminly killed my original one by over doing it with the carb cleaner spray was starting to make a misfire at about 2k rpm ops:
so cleaned this one alot less vigorously and popped it on


managed to align the HID's right, both pointing well and truely down, limiting my range in dark places such as this, but avoids blinding/dazzling other road users
(ugh looking at this pic the focus was set on the front screen, you can just make out the heater elements

I'd take the lights up slightly mate. Your headlamps shot by any chance? Mine give off a rather decent pattern with my HID's... Mine are still original ones too, but wether that makes any difference or not who fucking knows lol.

i disagree, ive kept up with/ out powered many more powerful cars than a C2 lemme tell you, its 3even kept up with a 2000 seat ibiza cupra 1.8 turbo, them things have 150bhp...
