yea the zetec engine loom is a bit different to the cvh/pte car loom plug, theres a full wiring guide in andy's conversion thread for his XR2i - 2.0 zetec guide on fiestaguides

he explains what pin goes where, he makes top notch guides fair play, used his electric mirror guide earlier today :)

the 2.0 mondeo mk1 DEEP/DESK/DEWY ecus work just as well,make sure you get the right maf too as it can cause hunting on idle like mine lol

made a bit more progress with the fiesta on saturday afternoon.

so now ive fitted the front upper strut brace, front coilovers, and ive fitted the brakes on the right hand side. need to get some washers from work to space the disc out as i lost the ones i used to have.

i also fitted the coolant tank from the other fiesta as it is much cleaner and less rusty coloured

still got a lot to do yet though before i move the car down to work to fit the zetec.

need to fit the brakes on the other side and bolt the rear shocks to the axle, should be able to get it off the stands then and rolling.
need to fit the rear pop outs as well.

then i think i can get it down work then. the rear axle can be rebuilt and fitted down there while its on the ramp. and we can start to do the conversion.

my mates dad has also offered to rebuild the front end for me, all i have to do is buy the paint and front panel.

still need to find some buckets, harnesses and a roll cage.

ill get some pics up tomorow night.

cheers mate.

i spent an hour or so this evening after work fitting the brakes onto the other side (in the dark lol). i also mounted the rear axle back up to the rear shocks and bled the brakes a bit but ran out of fluid to top it up.

so heres how the car currently looks..

well this car used to stay with my mates saxo vtr. up until about 60mph then he would leave me for dead lol

might put a 2.0 in in one day.

how many miles has the engine done?

are you interested in selling it after its out?

id be rather interested :)

if you would sell the loom and ecu etc, ive been planning on a 1.4 run around to avoid tax bills and still have a pokey fiesta

Never mind 1.4, im getting tired of 1.6 lol.

I bet this cars gonna be great when done,id love to get skirts and arches in mine one day, I did have a set but only got one arch as others went missing when I moved.
