nah birminham isnt too much of a drive from here, go up the backroads through monthouthshire, aviod the toll on the bridge and its quicker

id just throw it in the boot mate,

great find though, i paid £110 for mine end of dec 10, come with everything on the front end of the escort though, was from a LX estate, but there all the same engine even in the GTi, had 73k on the clock but sold all the other crap to make the engine only cost £30 in the end


any luck finding a loom? i will have a look at mine see if its alright for use, if so ill drop you a line


you going to 130 spec the engine? or leave it at 115?

i dunno if it will go in the boot, the cars lowered 60mm as it is.
My brothers mate rebuilds engines for a living so might get it completely rebuilt all ported and polished, gonna do it properly and not just throw it in. take my time and do it right first time, although im struggling to find a van to go get it been let down twice now might just go up bayliss see if hes got any GTI's up there.
