was at the garage putting petrol in seen the police car parked up and then as i parked up to fill up they took off and as soon as i pulled out the garage they went round the island and decided to pull me over. Officer came up to the window and says we are doing vosa check tonight can you take your car to the council depot and we will follow you there i asked why i had to go and they said ther ejust pulling car sup tonght around the cannock area luckily my car was ok and passed the vosa check

what checks did they do??

steering brakes underneath car under bonnet seat belts there is absolutely loads of police cars round cannock tonight so they must be clamping down on stuff jsut hope some people dont get caught with decats

they were doing that the other night in my place hemel hempstead, vosa just pulled people over. some got warned others didn't get off so easy as they had bigger engines than what was stated in their logbooks and got charged! so keep your eye out, as i think they are only targeting either boy racers, and quite possible older cars

ye thats why i think i got pulled because of the age of the car but i suppose they will pull anyone over randomely

Been past a few vosa check points around greater manchester but never been pulled into one, not seen one since I put my exhaust on so probably will get pulled in next time.

As I keep telling people, keep it all legit and you have noting to worry about.

You will find things like this will be on the increase as Vosa is no longer goverment owned.They are now private and are £96,000,000 in debt so are bringing in fines for every little thing now.I am a Hgv driver and they are clamping down on them badly,stupid things like £30 for a bulb out.

decat would probably be heaven to them possibly slap a massive fine on them who have decats on cars that were allowed were cars that were registered before 1992 as you are aware
