nice Si mate, i love this mallard green, its very similar but more obvious than my shade of petrol blue

if your still in a the mind set of the bushes, i have a full floflex kit, minus the beam bushes as i couldnt be arsed for that

i lvoe them, its a bit bumpy ill admit, but i fitted them at the same time i lowered it so could be either to fault

its FAR cheaper than powerflex for the same quality and same items only reason id use them is floflex dont do the wishbone bushes

i cant fault them so far, fitted them last august, the front top mounts were a bastard to fit but work well, the rear tops just sit on the top of the spring, make sure that little lip goes under a coil each side, and then bolt them down to the cups and fit to the car, they work a treat

the car handles superbly

is she lowered 30mm? looks very similar to mine in hieght

you also have a 2.0 badge in the same place my 1800 badge is :P, well mines on the bit where the upper and lower pockets touch

this is the exsact same spec mine come in, does it have the ABS too? mine had everything but the electric mirrors, including the optional airbag, ive not fitted the mirrors, easy to wire in, 4 wires bridge the passengers mirror and the other 3 are for heated funtion, i tapped into the front heated windscreen for this, the black is earth and the orange is ignition live i took from the electric windows

get some better pics up mate :)

Yeah that's the only reason why i wanted Powerflex lol. But i think i might go for some pre made ajustable wishbones instead and get the rest of the bushes from Floflex as their stuff is just as good all be a LOT cheaper and orange lol.
She's now lowered 50mm, sits at a nice height but i've got my steelies on atm because i need to roll my arches at the back lol.
It did have ABS, but i took it out as it is a pile of w?nk

So for the time being i've got my mind set on the chasis, so all the bushes and brakes to do. Then she's going back on the road to get the sils done and then it's time to fit THE BEAST .20 :P

And danny shhh!

Right, i've been under a rock for a while lol and now i have finally decided to get an engine stand so i can fix my 2.0 up ready to go in the car.

I'm confused as to where to mount the stand to the engine, the stand has 4 movable arms that i can bolt to the engine but i can only think of 3 holes in the engine that would be suitable.. where's the 4'th! lol
I've circled what i think the 3 are, can someone help me where the other one should go :S

Original photo

Btw this side of the engine is dirty because it's going to be at the back anyways and i don't mind lol

Hmm, since i have my stand and that. How much would it cost to get my engine rebored and 2028cc calibra turbo pistons fitted?

Might be able to get away with the flywheel fitted, not sure though, might be worth taking it off. Only a few bolts :)

Cost would be dependand upton the company that do it, but remember to use a proper company to do it which will hone (sp) cylinder walls ect. Is that 28cc really worth it though? I mean, spose it would be, but think about cost of that vs potential power.

How much extra bhp will it give you on a standard engine?

It won't give it any power at all i don't think.
But it will give the engine the right compression for a turbo

Yeah dependant on price. If it's like £1k then i can just do other bits on my car and keep the 1600 in until i can get the 2.0 rebored

Ah that doesn't sound good.
Meh, N/A FTW. More reliable anyways :P

You know the roof rails, does anyone know how to get rid of the sun damage?
I tried my usual lemon cleaner but that didn't do an amazing job
