Imagine seeing them scenes in real life, it's mad when you actually think about the world and how we exist in it and that we as humans have designed something so we can leave earth and look back on it at a distance

I neeeeeeeeeeeed to go into space before I die. It's something I'd LOVE to do. Really is. Apparantly it's quite a head fuck seeing the earth from such a distance, knowing you're not on it. :D

No fake pics. Maybe adjusted for better colours or something but none are fake. When was the last time you seen a hurricane from space and took a pic for comparisons? :lol:

Not to the moon no, they take you to the edge of the earths atmosphere, virtually but not quite into space. You do get to experience weightlessness though :D

so thats about £150K i reckon that isnt too bad when you consider whats involved and the cost of the equipment, staff and research thats getting you there....thats only my train fair for 15 years :shock:

i too would love to lose gravity and just float, would like to try one of those anti-gravity chambers to see what it feels like :D

I just find it so mental that there are sooooo many stars out there, and yet people deny there *could* be anything that's similar to our own planet! They're starting the find them now though, they're getting better at detecting planets orbiting stars, and can now spot small planets thanks to the stars gravitational "wobble" caused by the planets. It won't be long I can assure you before something important is found :D
