So its that terrible time of the year again and as luck would have it i have mot, tax and insurance all in 1 lovely month  :sigh: :banghead:

so tax and mot will be what the will be so may as well not think about it.

however insurance is a big pain in my very ample ass. i've now tried a few of the recommended sites from here and mentioned this site for as much discount as i could get. after reciting my details to 4 companies by phone and a couple online i have had enough for the day with offers ranging from £400 - £1400. with Adrian Flux and Sky being the best 2.

I'm a little confused with how the modifications work. please help... so i am going to put these bits on the car and i have told the companies this (full disclosure ftw ) and they are covered "like fore like" so if i claim they will be replaced, however both sky and AF have said they will only do TPFT, so if - touch wood it never happens but if - there is an accident and it is my fault what happens with my mdifications??? as they are disclosed and they are covered "like for like", are they covered regardless of the fact that my car would not be "claimable"???

Have you tried aviva? And have you tried ringing Paul on need to insure.
also, why didn't you ask? Lol I have no idea but presumably they wont pay as they don't pay out for your car in an accident

As for need to insure they were £800+ so too expensive
