what stuff did you use?
iv got some mantis stuff but havent the foggiest how to go about it (what order etc and do i need to dry the car after the first wash?)
im not good at cleaning lol

just turtle wax mate.

well usually im not one for doing all this myself lol! just normal wash. but i washed it, hosed it off, let it drip dry for a bit, dry it with a chamoise then used some polish/colour restorer on the bad parts, buffed that then waxed the whole thing, and buff that off. make sure you let the wax/polish dry properly. came up pretty nice like.

id get on the detailers threads mate, sure they have better tips than me lol.

just had the exhaut fitted... let's start with me being f'ing livid. should have cost me about £30.00 for that and my spark plugs. total comes to £70.00.
sjoyce 's magnex i bought off him was too long, which meant they had to chop away and heat certain parts to make it fit.
it's on, looks good, not really any sound, just a nice grumble. but for £70.00, it's pissed me right off. leaves me skint for a good week, great for valentines day i guess!

will post pictures when ive calmed down.

Magnex was too long?? I got a magnex system off Scott and it was fine

As per PM I dont know why it needed to be cut and bent as it came straight off of my Si and it was fitted fine

As Danny has said I have sold Magnex systems before and never had any problems as he has purchased one

well there literally right round the corner, landrover specialists. they said it was a pain in the arse to do. ermm, yeah didn't mean to make scott look bad there! was just angry lol!

ive had a good look under the car and it seems to look alright so maybe its just my car lol? got a few pics anyway so will whack them on.

like my mum always says, not the end of the world! thanks again to scott for supplying me with everything! for a good price sorry again.

Maybe its because yours is a 1.4 cvh whereas scotts might of been a zetec?

yeah that's what i thought? end of the day, it's not his fault. exhaust is on, i needed it on because my old one was blowing and now i have a perfectly good exhaust... which cost me a few bob

yeah, my bad completely! layout is different for the exhausts on the 1.6 and 1.4.

think the 1.6 is longer? seen it said somewhere before anyway.

Looks brill, I cant wait to get a new exhaust, im happy with my back box but the rest is nakard, it got repaired after breaking in 2 but now hangs too low.
