I'm going to spray my interior plastics.

Why? because its the cool thing to do with a ZS.

Any tips? I know its a bit of a pain in the ass with sanding etc. Does anyone know what the best sort of grit would be to sand?

Also want to do it all .... Purple! So, Satin purple. or ford velvet purple?



Thinking of this satin sumptuous purple.

If I bought ford velvet it would have to be lacquered, dunno if that would look very good though.

i hate spraying got to redo thet body kit peice this week and see if i can do a better job this time. Personally i think the velvet purple is a nice colour would be too dark inside the car, it looks ace with the sun shining on it so it may be too dull inside imo. its hard to tell on the picture on ebay how light the satin purple is but the same applies imho it would need to be a slightly lighter colour to show up nicely inside the car

I would like to try it on something properly but you I doubt i'd ever get the right finish with rattle cans without practice. You need the right technique to get you going.

I think plastics will be a good start I think the purple won't be too much of a distraction but will be a nice colour.

i dont like the sticker bombed bits. What colour are the bits already? if they are black i think they would look good in silver to match the outside. obviously if they are already silver then go for purple

in your opinion... which obviously is all that matters in this case now i looked at the pictures again its my opinion too, so ignore my previous message i now think the darker purple would fit nicely with the grey. the darker contrast would definitly look better than a lighter contrast

its just the way silver would look, wouldn't look great really would it. Its a nice exterior colour, but unless its a proper factory look silver. then it wouldn't be right, i'm sure with me spraying it would suck.

Like I say, I think it would look tacky. dunno why. be a bit boring and factory as well like you say, purples not too bright, just right imo. that green is OTT

yeah purple hoses, callipers, centre caps... if the centre caps look bad ill redo them white but worth a go.

i think the green 1 is good but they went overboard by doing the heating and stereo parts. if it was that colour on the first 1 it would have been spot on
