ok so i have a 1.1 at the min iv got a 2.0 engine that i have rebuilt new oil pump water pump all pully's are new ect im 100% confident that a can fit the engine just a couple of things i need to make sure of

first of all my new engine i got as a bair engine with basiclly block head and inlet iv sorted the sump pick up pipe and all the wiring ect but im stuggling on what to do with the vacuum pipe's like the two on the rear of the inlet ...
i was told i can block them off but i was told this by a cowboy so i dont really trust this..

also one other thing im unsure about is if i will have to change the fuel tank ??

any help as quick as possible would be awesome as im suppose to be doing all the work next weekend so iv got this week to sort any missing parts or answer any unanswered questions

cheers guys
:)

if you can matey i would get a donor fiesta si, like a crash damaged one at the rear or sides etc and remove the tank, the full wiring looms, engine mounts either get an ib5 gearbox so you can fit a puma gear linkage as a short shifter or the bc one from the fiesta si, with the standard linkage.

do you have power steering???

good man, more power to the engine that way and less to auxillary outputs. yeah basically its more like the fuel pump you need from the 16v si. so its usually easier to swap tanks that way spends less time getting switching pumps.

well you will have one that comes from the carbon canister definately need that, and one from the main crankcase breather thats the bigger one. then you should have a fixed vacuum line from the brake servo. theres one that is also from the egr (exhaust gas recirculation) but if you have removed that or haven't got a manifold with that on, then you can block that off. i think that should be all the vacuum pipes.

If you have removed the EGR, you can block off the too inlets at the back of the manifold, underneath where it says 'EFI'
What i did was just used some of the pipe and plugged the same peice onto both of the outlets.
