There has always been a roumours that it was tiff, i even asked him when i met him at a kit car show up in stoneleigh when he was looking at the kit cars i used to build at my old work.. i just said 'hey tiff, can i have a picture' shook his hand and on the sligh 'so whats it like to drive round the test track all day long' and he replied 'we dont use a test track on 5th gear we use race circuits to test the cars'.. i was like DAMN! lol

It wouldnt actually suprise me if its him tbh, the only way you will know is by hearing his voice.

But, its been seen that stig isnt just one person when hes 'out and about'. When TG do the public shots, they get someone else, some random production member of TG to go out because if someone were to flip the visor or whatever, its not a big deal. Plus when filming once, someone noticed there was a couple of stigs lurking around.

Anyway, i think it could still be ben colins. I mean, why not? Ok he was found out, he wrote about it in his book, but why wouldnt he still be the stig? Might aswell be! The 'new white stig' was to take peoples minds off ben and get it onto 'ooooo lets find out who he is'. They even had ben on one of the episodes when they dont the toyota yaris football i think it was, so they still use him for some stuff ;)

I had the same thought about it being Ben Collins still, but the driving style seems very different. I also thought about Tiff being the Stig this time, but I think that's a red herring, putting him in the show to make you think it could be him. The driving style does seem very similar to Tiff though! Maybe he's helping out until they get someone more permanent?

Who knows? If there's one thing Top Gear is good at, it's getting people talking about who the Stig is, but we never find out until the driver himself lets slip, so we may as well forget about it :lol:

You'd be supprised Chris. New resonably priced car is faster. Plus, 2 seconds can be made with years of practice in the same car when your at your limit of skill. Its just finding the perfect line and speed ect.

I'm convinced that the " James may" stig was ken block, his driving style matched perfectly, especially the bit with the hay bail and the grass verge overtake, block style all over

Not too sure on the track stig though,certain other shots of him have looked very small and feminine shaped but that could of been done purely to make us think it's a woman,
