Cheers dude.

Picking up the bottom end on Saturday, got a new waterpump, tensioner, belt, gaskets, coolant, oil etc as well.

So all being well, we may see it back to health by the end of the month.

Thanks guys. I'm sure it will be fine, I've gotten over the initial symptoms of being gutted and generally the 'WTF - GRRR' stage.

How's yours been, Graham? You'll have to let me know if you still have plans to get some other alloys, as I'll have the 16"s off you! Will need all the extra traction I can get soon.

Next step once it's bolted up is to hope that it runs OK and doesn't run too rich so that it can pass emissions on the MOT. If it can't, I'll have to get my aftermarket management in place earlier and get it running right. It's all up in the air still so taking everything as it comes.

I almost hate to say it given your current problems but mine is running perfectly! All that's new is that it's had a full paint correction done. Current plans are to refurb the original alloys once the weather gets better. Might try to get it done for the rrday

Ah but Graham, you did what I didn't - waited longer and saved up extra coin for a mint 98 Spec JDM - most of them always seem to be great quality, I don't think you'll ever have problems with it, it's just so damn clean. Sadly I bought a bit of a rough dog in hindsight, BUT I've nearly got it to a decent level after spending a few £k. Live and you learn eh?. You should update your thread, would love to see some ricer angles of the sun hitting that corrected shiny white paint :D

On a more positive note for this thread, PICKED UP THE BOTTOM END TODAY :D Pictures coming next weekend, but.. Woohoo! I'm getting there :)

Dropped it off with my mate helping with the build, and by next saturday we should have it all fitted and back up and running, with..

* New 3 layer headgasket
* New OEM Waterpump, OEM Tensioner and genuine Honda Cambelt
* New Fuchs Titan 10/40w Oil from Oilman, along with OEM Hamp Oil filter
* New Radiator Coolant
* Fresh Gearbox Oil

It will also have a Stage 2 Racing Clutch (unsure which actual clutch at the minute but will have it by end of the week, it just needs to be suitable upto 300 lb/ft) And then it's in for the MOT.

Well as a sneaky peek as to what Turbo setup I'll have, this is a similar unit to what I'll be running (it will be a 2nd hand one that has been reconditioned by a specialist)

And I'm even more spurred on to get it done ASAP, as I had a little looksie at BHP/Tonne figures and I'm just in shock :shock: All I can say is my poor front wheels. It will be anywhere between 250 and 300 BHP/Tonne depending on how stable the setup is.... It could make Jesus weep! :o

I'd estimate it to be bolted in and mapped up by May, but I'll have the Turbo Kit in a month or two as I'm putting a deposit down on it later on so it can be manufactured as I'm doing it 'Group Buy' stylee to get a few hundred knocked off the RRP :)
