top work mate, im thinking about doing my manifold on mine just not sure if the paint would last, even if its high temp and zetecs do run pretty hot lol

Angry update

Been let down by 2 people now with no answer to phones, facebook and the such so im seriously annoyed and let down, hoping a third person will provide something to swap the engines

Anyway, i went out because i have balls, and sorted about my oil pump, oil filter and water pump, new gasket and sealant and put on my crankshaft position sensor

I have now done everything i can do myself, professionally and with what i have, i need the car engine for the PAS and the alternator and their brackets, the Gbox, and the engine mounts to finish off

We can only hope the car runs in the next month or so, bloody frustrating :banghead:

Yeah, it sucks man, and to make it even more difficult, i think to only way is to drop it through the bottom.
Luckily i have a friend who's uncle owns a mechanic business and he says that he'll do it for me for Â£3-400
cause he has car lifts and hoists and whatnot.

I might be able to ask him about you when i see him next

Bit of an update:

Rob let me borrow an engine crane legend sooo today got the engine out of the car and took off the last little bits i wanted and the 'Box and put it all aside as it got dark

Will continue it tomorrow, only problem was an inner cv boot kit is needed as mine is split in two places :doh:

bloody thing and got an extra litre of oil, new clamps and some copper grease, it costs so much money thing will bankrupt me :lol:

Also got some paint for the other cam cover as its grotty so gonna spray the other one back silver like Dannys :thumbsup:

yep only problem is the camshafts are out of line and the timing needs to be done and i dont have a timing tool

will be interesting getting the camshafts in line without the locking tool :doh:

Got any 5mm flat metal laying around? Shame you dont live closer really, id give you the thing I used to do the cambelt on my car!
