FSI Monster Motorsport Rolling Road Day

Saturday 11th June 2011 – Starts from 9.30am

Right then folks, it's finally sorted! We'll be heading to Monster Motorsport for a fun filled Saturday! Here's the details...

Your session will usually take around 20 minutes which includes getting it on, strapping it up, running on the Dyno and then finally taking it off.

There’s now a 15 (or 16 at a push) car limit and that is with a 4wd DymoDynamics Rolling Road - Each session will have between 3 to 4 runs to get a good go at achieving maximum power once the car is set up on the RR for the most accurate reading.

The day starts from 10.30am, and there will be a break midday for Lunch - I’m guessing the day will end around 5pm if we hit 3 or 4 cars and hour, so plenty of time to go and grab a nice meal afterwards if people wish too at a nearby pub or eatery. Sixfields is also after this event.

To save even more time, the day will consist of people in groups of FWD, RWD and AWD so they do not need to keep readjusting the Dyno. I don't need to sell it to you, as you all know how awesome a day it is, but you will get to hear everyone's cars at max power, enjoy the fumes, take plenty of pictures, have a bit of banter over power figures and curves etc, it's all good fun.

Actually from what he was saying and the order he said it, I think RWD may be last I'm sure it won't matter though, we can always do the minorities first.

We may have to move the date of this forward, as we plan to be moving the dyno mid-April into its own purpose built dyno cell and a new ramp is being installed into the place where the dyno currently sits.

Is it possible to run this mid-end of March instead?
