Well its not exactly difficult to get some cheap phase 1 wheels and whack them on. Change the suspension, etc. The only thing that will be a problem will be the paint job, but people buy them on a focus right?
Its the least of my worries right now, I need to keep this car as its low maintenance and cheap to run. Until I get a better job (if ever) then I won't be looking at selling this one, its perfect for me.

All the cars I want would be petrol guzzlers and too much to insure

I think that cold air feed looks alright there But in your car's current form, carbon fibre would look spot on - more "factory".

Not too keen on the sounds of your plans though.... orange?? Really?

Oh and my mates ZS went rusty in exactly the same place, about the same amount too. He got it sorted, and 12 months later it was back...

It's your car and your tastes at the end of the day, but I just think mad colours on cars that never had them don't work so well. They just look wrong alot of the time. Personally, I'd be going for something that looks a lot different, but isn't in your face. A ZS with a magnum grey would suit your stealthy lights. Or a Skyline Midnight Purple. Niiice.

And I don't have time to read every thread on here Especially not "what colour do you think" kind of posts - I've seen a lot of them in my time and most of them never amount to anything

Aha yeah I get it, but there's only been 2 zs's with it before.none of which are around. And most people don't actually go through with there colour plans as you say so you don't see many cars with with the colours.

I'm not bothered about changing the colour to something normal else I'd stick with silver. Wanted a more in your face colour and that or the green suits best and seeing as its cheap why not.

add to the fact its a lovely colour and I love it.

Glad you agree Elward, I think Midnight Purple would be awesome on a ZS.

But Chris, it is indeed your choice. I'm not saying I'll hate it, I won't, because I always appreciate what others put into their cars, whether I'd do it to mine or not

I think my tastes have changed a lot since I was younger too, which is why I'm not one for far out colours and paintjobs. I love the "standard but not quite standard" look

skyline deep purple is as far away from a standard ford colour as you are likely to get

Personally i think the purple (my mate has a skyline and material) would look mental for that stealth look, perhaps a set of black wheels or gunmetal grey/anthracite wheels would look the sex
