and yeah des, for about 4 months ive had it. made a decision. going with onslack and keeping it all. if i need money in the future i will sell the wheels possibly but for the mo i will just see this policy out and have a good look for others once it's over.

Also, for modified cars, you are best off avoiding the usual price comparison sites and speaking to specialist insurers. Price comparison sites and most online insurers are set up for standard UK cars and shit the bed as soon as you mention even an alloy wheel change.

lol thanks ollie. yeah i think when i first insured my car i used a comparison site... the £8,000 quotes i was getting made me look elsewhere. at the time, churchill young drivers where the best policy to go with so i did. after this year it will be my second then i will go looking elsewhere, obviously for specialist insurers.

although i hate why insurers rape young people/high risk areas, but its a fact of life, higher risk postcodes are more likely to claim and young arsewipes ruin it for us, but the end of the day there a buisness.
