Now my dad has got to get rid of his laguna and is scrapping it (if it was worth selling it'd be worth fixing), now before he does scrap it i want to take off the splitter to fit to my fiesta.

I spent about 4 hours today trying to remove the little bugger and it would not budge. It appears to be attached with clips direct into the bumper and then stappled as well. I have removed almost all of the staples now (it was getting dark) but it just doesn't want to budge. I gave up on the staples at 1 point and tried to remove the whole bumper to make it easier. but that was a shambles, i have no idea what is keeping that on but i must have removed about 20 bolts and its still ridged.

Does anyone know how the bloody thing comes off? splitter or bumper (but mainly the splitter)

Splitter is easy to get off. Get a flat head screwdriver, put between the bumper and splitter all the way up to the handle and push down, it will sound like its breaking but its not. Well it is slightly. You will be left wit hall the big tabs and a splitter. Thats how i got my one for my old car anyway lol.

Yeah I tried something along those lines but got edgy because it started to snap I guess I should just keep going until it comes off or snaps. Either way it's no real loss to me.

Was your one stapled on as well, it seemed funny

Cheers Danny I was definitely going at it all wrong I was trying to rip off the staples so I could just pop it of the tabs. Got it off in a few mins today

I reckon the work done yesterday did most of it though lol
