Oh yeah, just remembered, ive got a mad wobble sometimes (coming from the rear, its not the steering wheel shaking)

Which must have been wheel bearings, I do hear them on corners humming away

but jacked up the rear, no play in them at all .. hmmmm

Maybe I should replace them anyway

Could be suspension?? maybe rear beam bushes, fuck knows lol

I do have a daft clunk sometimes when the N/S/R hits bumps and on the motorway I get some mental tramlining type feeling, which I also think is down to the rear end doing something it shouldnt

I get that on my passenger side, Shock top mount? i'm getting mine replaced tommorow, might have misread your symptoms but seems the same with the whole bump thing!
funnily enough i'm getting a wheel bearing replaced tommorow as well!

Just ordered some eBay special wishbones for 19.95 + 12 next day postage, as it drives like a real ford, all over the place!!
Wednesday night will fit them if they turn up on time
they arent too bad either as I fitted a set to the mondeo

Checked my tyres at work today, so the NSF was shagged to death.
The other 3 are fairly new tyres, which is annoying.
So stuck the less shagged to death spare on.
Which means a trip to buy a bloody tyre at some point soon

I'm pretty sure that its been driving shite down to the Wishbones, and I have a slight knocking/wobble? from the NSR, which I am kindof sure could be the shocker, as going over bumps, it definately feels abit skittish!!

So after ive fitted the wishbones, and get another tyre sorted, I may look into rear shock replacment (hey they are only 11.99 each inc postage on ebay) - tempted to renew the springs (which means lowering) - but Im not gonna start with that again

I just want it to drive a little better, no lowering stick mods for this shed!!!

So Friday, I went to ShonkWorx... after some fiddling around turning the electric back on once again (silly old twat farmer) I found a wanked out Escort GTI alloy which was covered in matt black paint from using it as a stand for a Punto door
Tyre was legal, so slapped it on the replace the "bent" NSR wheel. That sorted things so it was actually bent as I had thought.

So now.. Need to get the decent tyre swapped onto another rim, get one new tyre on the old spare rim, and stick the GTI rim in the boot as the spare

Personally I would rather have 15" steelies on it

Today I found some Silver hammerite, which I will use to paint over the worse of the inner door rot and roof rot


No lowering, even though I found a set of 60mm springs for £50 posted (brand new) .... but I quite like my lack of spine wrecking suspension at the moment, even though it is quite ropey due to the wishbones (and now.. out of balance wheels)

If I got offered a full set of GTI bumpers and a set of skirts in silver... fairly cheap.. I would do it
Mainly because my rear bumper is fucked, and my front one isnt the proper one, its a poverty spec non fog model which mine should have.

But as nothing seems to be cheap, fuck it

Gti kitted esckys look alright but as you said its runaround if it aint ceap fook it!

Not changing wheels either

Only need to swap one tyre over and add a new one to the collection. The 3 decent tyres I have on the xmas tree alloys are near enough new

My only plans with this are to make it better, in terms of daily use.. keeping it running etc...

Hammerite the rusty scabby bits to help it last a little longer

Boost Gauge & Bleed Valve to up the boost to 18psi
Up the on boost fueling (for better and safer overtaking..)
