Shizer, I forgot to ring on Friday, I will call him on Monday and get this booked.

I'll see if Alex can sort us out a potential feature.

If for some reason we can't make the numbers they need between ourselves (20 to 30 I think) then we can approach other Ford forums firstly, and then we can also ask around on places we visit te most- For me it would be the Teg or GTi-6 forum etc

However that would probably halt a specific Ford magazine coming, as when it's not dedicated to a particular make, I wouldn't blame them to not bother.

Regardless, I've been to EVERY Rolling Road day we've had (5 or 6?), and I enjoy them more than any other meets we hold, as we get to hear everyones cars at full chat, choke on the fumes, enjoy the banter/comparison from the numbers the RR's produce, and take plenty of pictures!

I hope my engine stays healthy enough to make it! :lol:

Right just spoke to Mark @ Jamsport.

I've pre-booked Saturday the 30th April 2011

A run on the rolling road will be Â£35 which will be between 2/3 runs with a graph printed out as per.

I advised that we would hopefully around around 20 or more cars running, but no more than 30 cars.

The only issue is that it is a 2WD rolling road, so this isn't exactly fair on people with 4WD who may want to run like Des and Alex so if people wish to look for alternative arrangements then let me know as we want to keep as many people as happy as possible!

A deposit of Â£400 will be required which is 12 cars basically.

Just looked at Northampton Motorsport but they too only have 2wd it seems...

Any thoughts? I'll ask around too, it would be good to see the Pulsar run again Des

and regardless, if we can't make the numbers up OR other people we know want to run, they may have 4wd too.

I'd stick with Jamsport for now unless we can find somewhere, but I'll ask around and will make a new post when everything is finalised
