hiya guys dont really post on here but thought id show you my little project i am working on

i was building a zetec turbo up for a mk3 fiesta i had. But the rust on it was quite bad and got offerd a mk5 zetec s shell for cheap so

the plan for the car atm is to jut fit the 2.0 blacktop and get it up and running then i will be sourcing a st170 engine or going to itb and cam the normal 2.0 the main aim been 170 ish bhp

process on the car is slow due to lack of funds but slowly getting there and hope within the next mount should be able to get the engine started.

spec so far is:

poloybushed all round
stripped
plates already welded in for cage
flocked dash
battery in boot
brand new coilovers
new drop links and track rod ends

plans i want to do are

cage
polycarb rear windows
300mm brakes
false floor
carbon fiber or poly front and rear door cards
170 + bhp engine

there no real date on it but as i have no car atm i could do with it back on the road im getting there thought got to do head gasket on the engine, then have got inlet manifold for it, st170 exhaust manifold on the way, so once all thats done and fitted got to set up fuel tank to the injectors etc and try and start it, am running a 2.0 focus ecu plugged straight into the zs wiring loom and so far its working as it should priming fuel pump etc

Yeah same here definitely nice to see a 2 litre being done and not the puma lump as usual.

cheers guys got long way to go yet this is just its mock stage then engine and every thing back out bay cleaned and sprayed up then been built back up again

and i just dont like the idea of the puma lump and have wanted to build a mk5 fiesta for some time so all worked out nice so far

Nice one mate are you going to rrebuild the engine while it's out? Got any other plans for her as well while the engine is going in.

The only issue I see with that is.. if your stripped it out and wanting a cage etc, then its either all or nothing
