its time to let go of my baby due to money troubles and a possible ban in january 1.6 si in tourmallard green few bad points rust on boot and someone has mashed the lock on passenger side door few bumps and scrapes slight water leak not from water pump as i have not long had this replaced along with timing belt and driver belt. it comes with 9 months mot and over 2 months tax also a good service history with lots of old mots tax disks and reciepts it has been lowered on gmax with uprated brakes and 5 spoke mondeo alloys i know it has a performance air filter and breather not sure of the make or what other engine mods it has it has an alarm half fitted by previous owner i have all the other bits with instructions and box to finish the job i want around 300 quid for the car as i need a run around untill jan you can contact me on 07542096098 i would like this car gone by monday as i cant afford to drive this to leceister and back every day what with xmas round the corner 2 kids and the dreaded ban i was guna put abit of cash into this car after xmas thats why i wanted a 2nd 1 but shit happens...

I second that, im interested for £300, would it need any work in the next few months or is good to go until MOT expiry? (obv tax aswell lol)

its got a slight water leak so as long as you keep it topped up or get it fixed yeah its sound dont leak or burn much oil just water its not the water pump as thats brand spankers i'm not sure where its leaking to be honest i know naff all about engines lol

Hmmm possible head gasket then? Any creamy stuff inside the oil cap

That's how I feel, I've spent loads getting this one sorted but it's really shite on fuel so thinking of getting a 1.6 but I don't have the money to spend repairing one to make it mot passible

u know years ago i got a rover metro 1.4 and head gasket went oil went creamy i can assure u the head gasket aint going/gone oil is blacker than black you can come view car anytime u like some1 tried offering me 200 quid for it 2day i turned them down its worth double that its been polished today by my mate after seeing it i wanted to keep but my ban gettin closer reminds me i gotta think practical i hope someone off here has it as i know u all appreciate si's but if i get given what offered she goes

the interior is emaculate the electric windows still work all good as does central locking

and after turning my phone on and getting texts off my ex also u get the locking nuts for car spare tyre plus bonnet raisers

How bad is the leak then, have you found water anywhere on the floor or in the bay or on hoses?

Mole if you did get this and have an engine prob rob has a rebuilt 1.6 in his garage for £50
