Hoping MOT man won't be a problem as my friend who does most of my work for me is a good school mate who I hang out with a lot now, and his garage let alot of Evos and scoobys go through on the sly.
If I am only modding the mani then its ok as the cat back fits the standard mani and it can be swapped.
but if the cat back needs welding, then it'll just need to be a job for me to get a standard cat back again and swap it ALL over and ALL back again

4 branch should free things up a little, i know my fez with a 4 branch revs alot better

true my xr3i loved its 4 branch (until i snapped it)

they snap as they have no give, so if you bang through the gears continously it will snap

ah well, i'll probably only drive like I do now anyway and thats just like any normal driver, might get a bit of abuse at first, but i'll bear in mind not to thrash it much.

But that won't help me when I come to take the car out on the track I'll look into it january or something, need a bigger bore flexi

its not thrashing, it's how hard you are changing gear, if you drive fast with mechanical sympathy it will be fine

u dont have to take the driveshaft out to do the manifold mate, u can just disconnect the gearbox mount and slide the engine foreward a bit to get access
