cheers rob, i know you've had your fair few encounters, pretty crap feeling!

me and my dad managed to bash out the door and get some of the scratches off and make it look fairly decent! will post pictures tomorrow.

going to tackle the 1/4 panel tomorrow. think im going to find a replacement door and get the panel repaired (depending on the amount price wise). some of the scratches have revealed bare metal and some surface rust has already built up. what can i put over it to prevent further rust?

Sounds like you've made a good start mate

Sand the rust off with wet and dry then get some rattle can paint on the scratches to stop them rusting temporarily

been a pretty gay couple of weeks. not getting many hours at work, internet going down (fixed now thank god!) and so called 'friends' being major twats.

luckily im getting the hours but all of this has put me in the blue's and i just cant get the get up and go to get working on the car anybody suggest certain drugs that could possibly get me going?

Just wait til you have the cash to sort it, if you go using all your spare cash on the car again and something goes wrong it'll end up off the road like last time. Still 8 months or so until ford fair so youve got plenty of time to prep!

yeah, cant see the alloys that clearly there either tbh but you get the idea, and the center caps i have also gave up on that idea so im glad we're on the same wave length! as for lowering, thanks for the offer darren mate but ive already sorted 30mm eibach springs from sjjoyce with the standard shocks, wont be a massive lowerage' but will make a difference. yours are 35 arent they dave?

so yeah, after sixfields, my alloys, mudflaps, cat back and new bonnet sorted and hopefully a new door!
it just depresses me so much to look at the first picure then the rest
