think its to guide air into the airbox cos if u look on the standard air box the air feed starts just above it. just a guess tho :?

well seeing i'm using a different inlet with no air box, safe to say i can remove it lol

Are you sure? On my standard airbox the vent is at the front at the side of the headlight. I've been under my car so much I can see this in my head, still can't figure out what it's actually for.

Mine snapped off when I drove into a brick at high speed :lol: - (the brick did also rip an exhaust box in half too haha)
