cleaned the MAF . . . . cant believe i didnt do it ages ago, it drives so much better and alot faster throughout the rev range.

IF YOU AVENT DONE IT THEN GET IT DONE as no doubt, likemine, its built up aload of muck over the years lol

get it done now lol, make sure you use a cotten bud or sumat soft so you dont brake the two wires, the only ting hat stpped me gettin it done sooner really was because you need a security torx tool

take alook at the pic on my thread. its best o just pull it out so you make sure the wires get a good clean. i picked up a torx and allen wrench set from range for £10, bargain lol

Today I fitted the new Mintex Discs and Pads I got, and did a full oil change. I also replaced that bum-monkey chav cone filter with a standard airbox from the scrappy.

Car now runs sweeeeeeeet, no more chugging, high idling (even when warm, dropped 200 revs on choke idle), accelerates like mad through second as found out from a tiny roundabout at 30 leading to a 60, had a chav 'provoke' me and he lost.

oil and filter change, coolant change, made some measurements for my induction hosing and the hole in my bulk head! :lol:
