well for a standard 2.0 talking over 3k. and most companies wont touch me.

Yaris is £100 more a year to insure than my fiesta. and i think some companies will let you do certain engine mods aslong as it doesnt go over a certain number of horseys.
but i honestly i think it wouldnt be too far behind one.

All in all i just fancy a change i was talking about this to jason and he said he knows how i feel. after all he did have the 2.0 mk2 and then get the williams clio and now has a audi and like me still is a ford fanatic at heard

i aim to please

saw a nice yaris earlier as it happens, on black rims in the grey-ish colour, looked good

I would drive one first.
I drive.my mums yaris when I want to wash the car. It's horrible feels big, can't see the front. Your sat really high up. Dunno if the tsport is different. Id never have one its horrible to drive lol

I will agree with Chris do go for a test drive, I assume it will be much like the C2 for feeling higher up and not seeing the front, never bothered me but may bother you.

yes i have considered it hence me test driving an EP3 and a 182

I would deffo give one a drive first, at the end of the day thats what you will be doing 98% of the time. It could look amazing but you may really hate the driving position, feel to the car etc

also if your going to buy one look for rust.... no im not joking jap cars do rust too. i had a 5 year old honda jazz on the ramp today and i was shocked by the amount of rust under the boot floor.

Definitely having a test drive. problem is i went to my local toyota dealer and there starting to get hard to come by now as they were only made for 4 years and dealers dont stock them. but speaking to him he raved about them i asked about reliability, he wasnt your average salesman very genuine guy new i wasnt gonna buy anything from there, he said that toyota make the VVTi engines to last 250,000 with regular servicing so shouldnt see any massive or any problems with relability if i buy a decent one.

Oh and the yaris T-sport sits 20mm lower than the standard and has more lower down bucket'd style seats.

Was going to say I would expect the top model to be a bit lower, I did have a quick look at them when looking at C2's but wanted a little more power, my mate did have one and it seemed nice enough as a passenger but I never had a drive of it.

atm im changing my mind like the wind, it was a yaris then zs then a zs tdci and now im looking at the dark side and going le francais!

Started looking at saxo vtr's i know im gonna get flamed for it but so be it, ive always had a massive soft spot for a nice cleanly modded vtr/vts, and best thing about it if i move to admiral my old man on my policy its £980 insurance! bargain! and there 100bhp standard and gain massively from breathing mods and exhaust!
