car is off the road now. Can't drive it in the state it is.
Rear axle and rear arb are knackered. Steelies were absolutely totalled. Suspension on the offside has gone completely.
I didn't hit anyone else and managed to direct it away from the traffic coming on the roundabout.
Steering rack is good though so managed to save something at least.

Already got suspension and wheels for it. ARB i said to terry ill have his now just hunting for a rear axle.

thankfully yeah.

If it hadn't been for all the alloys in the back the car would have flipped. The Towbars picked up dirt it was that bent over.

hit diesel/oil on a roundabout. The police reckon it was diesel as that was what did the focus. Good thing they weren't far behind me.

nah no ambulance for us there was another one that happened at roughly the same time.
There was only 2 police cars with us and we had signs put out as we were facing the wrong way on the slip road onto the roundabout.

Sometimes i felt i was screwed cause the xr2i felt slippy, methinks alloys with grippy tyres will be bought forward on the list! :doh:

Was a great meet,weather was shite tho!I'm glad it cleared up and we got a chance to have a look at the cars :D

Steve your car sounds awesome,I want carbs/tb's for the mk2 :banghead:

Kirsty,really sorry to hear/see the car like that,when i saw you I thought WTF :shock: !! We stopped straight away,I'm glad the police were so close behind!sorry we didn't hang around,there wasn't much we could do and we were blocking the slip road :red:
