for the pedals they have to have a 50mm gap minimum and must have a "grippy" surface, what a grippy surface is i dont know depends on the MOT tester but i am preety sure ures will be fine.

Well incase anyone cared,

She failed.

Failed items;

"Break pedal anti-slip provision missing'' - Just gotta remove the pedbal for the re-test.

" Nearside and offside wishbone bushes worn'' - Going to get them both done in a minute.

Both headlamps need re-aligning too.

Nott too bad, but i'm still f**ked off on the amount i'm spending on this heap at the minute.

Yesterday: £110 for tyres

Today: £44.15 for MOT, £120 for both bushes to be replaced.

Monday: Headlamps aligned £10.50 and Car Tax: £93.50

Which work out at £378.15 over three days.

Seriously not good.

Really cant be arsed with this car anymore...

RE speedo needle sticking, try sliding a pair of tweezers under the needle and Very Gently ease the needle up the spindle, do this to all the needles until the base of the needle is just clear of the face and they'll never stick again, hth.

She's in the garage as we speak getting her re-test done, as for the whole appeal thing, I really cant be bothered, so i just took the pedal off.

Hopefully she'll be back later with a piece of paper that I paid £45 for. :x
