Well as some of you will have seen last night, I got a set of RS 4 spoke wheels for her (thanks to scamp picking them up for me) and am delighted with them!

Put them next to the car this morning to get an idea of how they will look and am well pleased!

(Dont forget the car will be 50mm lower when the wheels are fitted )













I have also fitted the chrome trims on the front doors as they werent fitted as the clips were missing. Managed to get some clips from ford.

As well as this I got a new tail light for £2 off ebay as one of mine was cracked and fitted that too.

Finally finished prepping the tailgate yesterday too so its all ready to spray tomorrow now, cant wait till its done.

Got the tailgate all sprayed up today so once its hardened I can get it on the car, cant wait! The mk2 tailgate on at the mo is annoying me so much, and to make matters worse its got the wrong ford badge on it and it is also at the wrong side!!

Well, after much consideration I have decided that the mk1 is just too precious to put on the road through the winter. Thinking it through, between her and the si it makes alot more sense to use the si as the daily drive as it is more "refined" and I know it is a good and reliable car.

I think it would just be too upsetting driving the mk1 in the salt and ice and seeing her rust away, so she will be stored over the winter and come out to play for fiesta in the park (with a few mods too )

Going to make sure the si is still well loved tho, promised myself I'm going to take it to jetwashes at regular intervals to keep the underside as clean and salt free as possible

as for using the si in winter... underseal will be your best friend

Anyone seen in fast for how many si's there are left in the uk? Not as much as I thought!
