i had the mudflaps long ago they were a payment for helping jason sort out his garden and shed full of car parts. was gonna put them on before FF but was looking for clips to clip them on then after seeing them on your car i thought screw it and self tapped them on haha

Have got some new plans for the car now. was gonna go down the 1.6 8v route with the xr2i engine but after some warnings about the cam problem they suffer with im ditching that as i need it to be fairly reliable. IF i get this new job in the prison its going 2.0, already sourced a Fsi engine loom off a friend, jason said its easy enough splicing and tapping into my 1.1 then its gonna be sourcing the parts then drop it in. the engine wont be going in till i have every part nessecary for the conversion then things like HO inlet mani etc will come after.

Just really need this job now as im already getting extremley excited!

tbh on the CVH the cams only get eaten due to the oil pump design, most people fit a high pressure oil pump, new cam and tappets and its fine

best of luck with the job mate! im going 2.0 zetec aswel and ive gotten a loom and a few bits but the si loom i got just plugs directly into my 1.1 loom, you sure yours dosent?

Well guys i got the job. just gotta fill out a load of security/screening booklets send them off and wait 6/8 weeks till i can start which is a bummer. but ive sourced my engine loom and other little bits and he said there sitting there doing nothing and hasnt advertised them so first pay cheque is going to be getting the bits
