CUSTOM SAMCO INDUCTION HOSE

Ok been asked a few times about the diameters and dimensions of my Samco Induction hose so here it is.

Basically its made up of 3 parts, 2 samco hoses, a aluminum tube and 4 hose clips (2 each end of the tube, 1 on the throttle body and 1 and the maf)
Total cost for this mod should be about £50-£60 (Without the Filter itself)

Ive had to use bonnet raisers to help clear the gap between the samco hose and the bonnet when its shut.
This will fit any throttle body with an outer diameter of approximately 70mm.






Aluminum Tube.
Length: 220mm (22cm)
Inner Diameter: 66mm (6.6cm)
Overall Diameter: 70mm (7CM) - 2mm thick



90 Degree Samco Hose (Part No. E90 70) RRP £24.27 Inc VAT
Inner Diameter: 70mm (7CM)
Overall Diameter: 800mm (8CM) - 5mm thick
Leg Lenth: 125x125mm (12.5x12.5cm)


45 Degree Samco Hose (Part No. E45 70)RRP £27.56 Inc VAT
Inner Diameter: 70mm (7CM)
Overall Diameter: 800mm (8CM) - 5mm thick

They also do premium colours of Blaze, Urban Camo, Pink, Ice White, Metallic Silver, Matt Black

Its a bitch to fit the hose at the MAF end as its bigger then the 70mm Samco hose but it will stretch over it.
You could use 2x 90 degree hoses and have the filter pointing right down instead of the 45 degree angle as seen in mine. The Hoses can be cut to length to suit your requirements. Ive cut my hoses back to show more tube and less hose.. The tubing i guess you would have to seek yourself, although i know Samco also do tubing in aluminum or carbon here: http://www.samcosport.com/uk/acc_alloy_jointers.asp

I been meaning to change my induction pipework,
i had a similar induction setup but was using 80mm shaped pipe from a mondeo induction kit, i fitted it after fitting bonnet raisers i took the raisers off the other morning droped my bonet down to close and created a powerbulge i mean outward dent doh im gonna copy your setup and use a small raisers

just as an update on this, if you dont fancy having your pants pulled down buy samco, sfs have pretty much the same hoses and part numbers but cheaper

will update when mine arrive

i managed to find whole lot on ebay for roughly £44 delivered, there's alot of people selling hoses for half the price, obvisouly the quality is a little less (4ply instead of 5) and it has a weird brand name printed on it and the hoses smell abit weird like off onion ha, the seller "nicenewcar" sells the hoses and "mrsilicone sells a 300mm aly pipe"
when i get a chance to fit it i'll up a pic (unless it looks pikey lol )

Where do you get all the alluminium bits from??
They look so good!! Did you get the samco direct replacement kit for 1.6 fiesta si as well as the custom bits??

yeha i got my pipe from that guy to then chopped abit off the end
