 Post subject: hydraulic lifters.

im doing a head gasket change on my 2 litre and got the head off and everyhting, took out the hydraulic loifters and noticed that 8 of the lifters from the inside are a bigger end than the other 8 (looking at it from the bottom side up.

hope that is useful.

i tipped the head slighlty to the side and they all come out and i dont no were any of them go.

the smaller ones are for the exhaust side (they expand with heat) :thumbsup:
the rest is the inlet side :thumbsup:
