the insurance shouldnt be too bad depends what engine your putting in it. i found that out when i done my engine change.

im with bell. it went up by £200 because i said that the engine came from a family car mondeo. which apparently does lower it. dont no why 3 years no claims but have 3 points though

Yeah I think i'd be best trying to find the cheapest modifying company, its a 1.7 puma going in, maybe they'll be stupid and think its only a small step up from the 1.6 and charge me nothing would make me happy.

yo chris my mates jus bought a silver zs with a puma lump its about as quick asa 2litre fez but revs nicer
he only paid 1400 and its very clean but its got an si steering wheel

the zs one is alot nicer imo but it was badly worn as they do lol

just make sure the brakes are upgraded a lil first

Nah puma is 130_135bhp and it drops straight in with only the loom and ECU needing to be changed.

I was gonna get an si steering wheel but theZS one has grown on me

Puma is actually 123bhp I found o but with a 421 straight through should see 130.

puma lumps are awesome little things with the Variable cam timing its like a little vtec kick. 4-2-1 decat and a straight through along with the FRP inlet should have some nice grunt!

Got a lot of saving to do, as i'm paying off my grandad £300 a month and still surviving I think its feasable, but I worked out for everything that I want it's going to be around the cost of the car for all the upgrades But hopefully all will go to plan, will get hold of everything ok, and have a hell of a lot of fun on the track, probably wont be many updates for this unless I clean it or go to a meet as I don't want to waste anymore money on it

Waste I mean as in little silly things, like bulbs and cans of spray and crap to try and improve bits and pieces here and there you end up wasting a fortune on bits and bobs you really don't need So i'm going all out with saving, and getting all the parts in one go, and putting them all on right before Ford Fair

I cleaned her just now, very happy with the results. The new boot is still a little rough and T-cutting it brought out a few more scratches But its allll good, very shiny
