Ok so I'm now thinking of going down the route of blackboard paint or black gloss paint on my bonnet to make it look a bit different to the norm.

Was wondering on opinions from people.

Keep it the current colour it is?
Go for the chalkboard paint?
shiny and gloss black?

Matt black bonnet but keep the vents red? Iv been toyong with the idea of having my vents a different colour.

But to make it simple they sell matte black spray cans at halfords so i guess its just the usual prep them spray that on it, i think you can get some matte laquer as i found out off some forums iv just been googling on the subject but dont know where to get this

I've been doing the same.
A few I've read have recommended the hammerite smooth black.
A lot say the spray cans are hit and miss and from experience its probably true.

I was thinking tin of that paint and a foam roller to apply (well it was suggested on another forum)

Yeah I read about the matt lacquer to it seems to depend on what brand you buy and if you want it flat or with a slight sheen to it.

personally i would have it done the same as the car

blackboard look may be ok but if it were me i'd always think people would be thinking its not been finished

at the end of day it depends on whether you want to make your car look factory again

Factory look or is it known as oem look? Anyway i prefer it to, but i admire people tryin sumat different, maybe, if you do it, do some othef parts in matte black to.

Carbon wrap it!!!!!!!!! That will make it stand out from the crowd. When I got my wings and spoiler done there was a large range of colour available, from white to black in carbon look and then theres any other vinyl you could want (just look at the RS500 it must be in fashion )

oh right yeah might as well do the whole car because matt black dont look right just on its own. if ya do carbon wrap wont it just peel off soon. itll be like driving a big old el paso fajit wrap

Nah if it's done well or by someone who knows what they are doing it gets sealed up under the bonnet and shouldn't peel off at all. I was toying with the idea but thought it wouldn't look quite right to me but if you are going to change it anyway it may be an idea
