haha yeah i think that it was just a spot of bad luck tbh, literally everything was against us, but atleast we got it sorted or we prob still been there now lol

Just a quick update to let people know that i now have the exhaust all sealed and it sounds awesome, i will get a video up of it soon, i also have the MK4 wiper arm on now as well so i dont think there will be another update for a while as funds have ran out untill after Ford Fair

Been a while since my last update so i thought i would get my typing fingers back again instead of my grafting ones lol. Since my last update i found this picture of the exhaust that went onto my Si on that eventful night in sheffield lol.



I also feel slightly deaf now but it is all good fun with the looks i get . Some of you may know that i de-badged the Si the other day, quite funny how that came about. I dropped the girlfriend off at hers and she wanted he "goodnight fag" so we sat behind the car, whilst we were there we started talking about some serious stuff when i thought how nice the Si would look with no badges. This didnt go down well as you can expect and got an ear bashing when asked what i thought about what she had said and i replied "i agree, by the way do you think the Si will look nice with no badges" , today i used some cutting compound and managed to get rid of those last few bits of glue and this is the finnished result



Now i have watching alot of Discovery Turbo and Shed recently and a hell of alot of Wheeler Dealers so today i thought to myself "what can i Edd China today" i decided on the bonnet prop. Its about £20 i believe to get a stainless steel one so i decided to save a bit of money and take it off, sand it all back to bear metal and apply some laquer to it and it looks real good



I'll finnish off by leaving you with this night shot taken the other day once again while the missues decide to shorten her life expectancy lol. Unsure what will be done next but no doubt will happen soon.

i no who you felt after the ear bashing. i get it all the time. as soon as i want to do something with the car i get an ear bashing and the same as when im on here lol. i just go and do it anyway. its my car i bought for it and everything myself and you only life once so just go for it. lol

So today i have been really busy doing my Edd China again . Instead of buying chrome strut tops, why not just make your own? Now it took me a good hour and a half for each one but i think it is well worth it and i am happy with the way that it has turned out:





Also as promised the video of my exhaust, sadly i think the sound overpowered the speakers on my phone but nevertheless you get the general idea:

Finally I don't quite know what made me do this but i saw a mate of mine do it to his Capri a while ago and i really liked the look of it and i think it looks really good personally but am open to other peoples opinions:

Thats cool just sand shizzle down and it becomes chrome-ish?

And you only put tape on your lights for when your on a track... Thats my opinion on that

Basically yea, sand it back to the bear metal then laquer it. Stays shiny and creates a protective layer over it.

What grit you using? is it leaving scratches? got half a tin of laquer and some sand paper lying around soooo.. hmmm

Well i have been using Wickes wet and dry because of my staff discount lol. First using 180 then 280 then 400 so it leaves it nice and smooth as well as getting rid of all the scratches that may have been left behind using the harsh grit at the beginning.
