As Darren said mate I think you just have to re tax it and it should be ok. Might have to have a new mot aswell but I'm sure the post office will tell you all about it

yeh im going to tax it, then book it in for its MOT so the garages insurance will cover me to drive it back to my house then once ive had the MOT i will insure it (depending on if it passes!) just dont like the way i have to put a deposit down for my insurance, then pay the 1st installment and so on so forth!

sooo... payday was 2 weeks yesterday so i need advice on what to get first.
it is out of the following choices: lowering kit (full with dampers), alloys or a middle section and catback for the exhaust?

a second dilemma. my MOT is on monday. however i cannot tax it without an MOT. i have to drive a good 15 minutes to get home and to the MOT centre which is round the corner. legally, what could happen if i get pulled?

looking good, i would just do little subtle changes like me, check my project thread and look at my Edd China work, i.e sanding bonnet to bear metal and laquer, saves you £20 for a stainless steel one and looks almost the same. strip out the back, only takes a couple of hours and other bits like that

went to pick my car up today from my grandma's. knew i didnt have any rear bulbs so borrowed some off my mate. tail lights, indicators and reverse light works. bar the break lights! think its a fuse?
also, change a few bulbs around and the tail light lit up when i pressed the break. so im not sure whats happened? and my MOT is tomorrow

any advice would be appreciated! will get pics up also after a good polish etc.

Might be the wrong bulbs? or the wrong way round? or just switch and swap them around.

Lower it 60mm then, thats practical and looks awesome!

You sure they are the right bulbs mate, because brake light bulbs have 2 filaments in them rather than 1

yeah i used many bulbs borrowed them out of a ka if that makes a difference?
no worries though because i dropped it at my garage before, told them, then its off to the MOT! hopefully won't be too pricey!

If you want to pay to get them fixed, but dosen't having dents repaired on alloys usually decrease the strength of the alloy?
They look good, and you'd easily get them under 60mm drop, just don't know about the fact there dented.

yeah that's what i was thinking? but it's sod's law that the alloys ive wanted for a while are under an hour away from mine, and have to be bloody dented! might just hang on

it passed wooo. honestly thought it would fail but my quick service lastnight obviously did it justice.

only problem is i cant tax it until i get my insurance doc's... lets just say i didnt throw a hissy fit at the time...:/

currently looking for alloys but it isnt bloody easy!
