hi peeps, first pay for nightshift is almost in the bank (friday) and the car is getting a makeover, just want to clarify that these suspensions are going to be compatable with my 1.4 mk3.5 si (95)

here are the links to the two im looking at

any info on these would be great, other things she will be getting are new wiper stalk as the old 1 blew up, to whipe windows just now i join 2 wires from the wireing loom together how fun, lol

also i have to get tnew tires for the 15" wolfrace alloys i scored recently for £20 been refurbing them so far so good, i placed 2 of them infront of my steelies n took a lowdown pic as seen below looks not to bad me thinks , the question is which suspension should i go for (providing they are compatable) and what profile would be best to prevent rubbing

pics of the car

u can see i painted teh tyres 2 lol didnt see the point covering them as i knew they were geting replaced

Aslong as its defo mk3.5, it should show car year an engine size to clarify your exact model.

Wheels look very good, i cant wait to refurb mine white because they look perfect on the dark aubergine (best colour imo although obviously im a little biassed lol).

You should look here http://www.fiesta-centre.co.uk/ford-fiesta-50-c.asp if you are looking at gmax these definately fit your car and are cheaper than the other sites. ok its only a 35mm drop but imo thats the best drop, gets goood handling but still looks lower and isnt killer on your spine over speed bumps

Yeah you should be able to put even lower springs on the shorter shocks, wont hurt it too much, as you can also put the low springs on the standard shocks. if you put the lower springs on the shorter shocks it will put extra strain on them so they wont last as long, but being new they should last a while.

yeah, probably what im going to go for then, i dont think il have the car for a long time as i want to get the 1.6si and the future at some point, mainly because teh 2.0 conversion is alot easyer to do on the 1.6 dont need 2 change engine mounts etc

Thanks again

Hmm, i know the Si 16v' have different front shocks than the 8v Si's
But i think it's only the stiffness.

If that's just the case, then both will fit and it's just up to you if you want to lower it 55mm or 60mm

went 4 this kit, site seem's to be good so now i play the waiting game, gonna get new pads and shoe's 4 the rear, i have no breaks just now, reson being my back right wheel seized solid, no amount or hitting it with a hammer was gonna work, so got my m8 up who's a mechanic and he had his way with it, eventualy after about 15 mins of struggling he got the drum cover off, both shoes as binded badly, so he removed the whole drum system and put it back 2gether again temp till i get the shoes, i just cant touch the breaks or the wee cylinder will expand and my break fluid will b all over the drive haha , the wheels is nice n free moving agan tho and the bearings seemed fine so of i go to call dingbro 2 get her some new breaks all round :D got a m8 who know's the guy's there well so will b gettin them at cost price rather than retail, soon il be all good to go ppl, finaly,

holey shit i just about wrote a novel, hehe

madz :D
