howdy lads, quick question, im collecting parts for a 2.0 litre conversion on my 1.1 and question is about the radiator, as i live in ireland zetec mk3s are impossible to come by so im wondering are the 1.8 diesel radiators the same as the zetecs?? thanks in advance! :thumbsup:

i doint think so mate have you got the haynes manual it might help you out in there. because i no the zetecs have a sensor on the bottom drivers side corner of the rad but on the diesel i dont no. sorry it aint much help.

is the sensor for the fan or temp sensor mate? i have an escort 1.6 and i cant see a sensor on that radiator, there all on the termostat housing, could i maybe use that termo housing??

i think the sensor at the bottom of the rad is a temp sensor. the one on the top of the thermostat housing is the fan switch. should be a big sensor with two wires.
