ST200 has same spoiler as the Zetec models, found one on ebay the same colour as my car for £5 at moment, problem is that its in York and they won't post.. so I'll leave that!

I thought the car was fairly decent with a snapped spring, nackered droplink, nackered shocks and balloon tyres... but now ive got basically everything renewed and some decent 215 width tyres on the 17s it handles like a right weopon to say its a big car... shame I have no track time at Ford Fair

On another note,

I'm needing a good Phone mount & Charger for my HTC Desire (shiiiit hot phone IMO), now bearing in mind the Mondeo isnt the best shaped dash for mounting things, and I want the phone in view... because I use bluetooth for phone calls (will want to see who is calling) and also I may use the Google Maps Navigation system, or use Google MyTracks to track my journey

Also, slight issue, cheapo chargers only charge at 500mA where as the proper chargers charge at 1000mA and its a noticable difference in charging times!

So, proper HTC stuff is needed!

Brodit do proper clips which mount on the dash and you screw in other phone mounts etc, HTC Active mount is about £50 tho so that can wait.


Also TomTom mounting... I HATE the suction mounts, and I hate the cheapo vent mounts... so I have had an idea... cut up a standard mount with the balljoint in it... and either attach it to the A pillar mount, either hiding the mounting behind the trim with a slight bit sticking out, or use some fancy magnets http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0124253441

I have seen a few mounted with these on tops of dashes, then you can remove the mount completely, no mounts, no holes, no anything!

Glad your happy with the new bits mate, think you have found what i have found with the cougar, BIG car but somehow it handles brilliantly, i mean its no fiesta but considering the size of the bus it handles blooming well

Going well mate, all i can say is the v6 st24 must be good fun, cougar looked different though so i went for that

Yeah unfortunately the ST200 was starting at circa £2k so i only had half that for budget

Look sweet wish my cougar had the engine from it

Not a bad price for one... shame my next car in a year or 2 after this Mondeo is going to be a DERV

Depending on what my money is like, my plan is either.... Golf, Leon, A3, A4, Passat TDI (130 or 150 spec) ... or more than likely a MK3 Mondeo TDCI 2.0 130 spec.. as they arent too shabby!

Well I picked up my Cruise Control, luckily the guy breaks mondeos all the time so I ended up with a full set of looms and rear window runners to fit Rear Electric windows, and the correct front door looms to make my Electric Mirrors operational!

So that was Saturdays job, and as Jam says in the quote in my sig.. the usual rush before Ford Fair

Next things to do are:-
Rear wheel balancing, as its shaking its tits off above 65... *ahem*
Oil, Oil filter, Fuel Filter change
Wire up my cruise control system
Fit the Ghia fancy sunvisors
Repair O/S Front Foglight housing as it decided to drop to bits at Ford Fair!?
Replace the Aerial as its shit
Replace the Headunit as its shit
Replace AirCon rad, and re-gas
Find a spoiler in my colour
If I spot RSAP (ST24, Zetec-S) bumpers/skirts in my colour, snap them up.

Right then ladies

Fitted the Ghia X Cruise Control setup

Did it yesturday but didnt work, had a think over night and realised I put one wire in wrong, swapped it around and now it works like a charm!

Only downside is, its a MK1 Steering Wheel (and compared to the MK2 they are shit!) so will be getting one of them when I see a decent one pop up!

Also tinted the rear lights, but done them too dark so gonna have a go at T Cutting the top layer, but looks pretty good IMO

What's it like on fuel? Ive taken my cone filter of my Cougar and the Mpg has got a little bit worse

RSAP (ST24) Bumpers:-
They are a slightly different shade, and arent perfect, but it was rude not to get them, and the shade difference I dont care.
Front bumper and skirts fitted when I can be bothered, the rear one has to wait till I get an exhaust hanger welded on the O/S as well as an exhaust which exits on the O/S


See slight shade difference...


2 things which I will add soon are, Spoiler, and a splitter for the front bumper (will cover up some nasty scratches )
