Just wondering how easy this is to do as i want my bootlid real clean as i was sitting behind the car earlier (don't ask ) and think it will look really nice.

pry them off with something and your done..
Don't use like a screwdriver or anything as it'll scratch.
Best bet would probably be to get soapy warm water, wipe it all over each one, then peel them off with your hand.
then just scrape the crap off with any cleaner. hope this helps

Oh, as easy as that. But what else could you use for prying it off other than a screwdriver? Yea, i have the RS1800 badge i'm debating whether to leave it completely clean or just have the RS1800 badge on but it dont really go like one

easiest way is warm up the glue behind the badges with a hairdryer get some fishing line and just put it behind it and just pull through the glue and the badge will come off then just tar remover the glue off

once you got the badges off use some auto glym super resin polish to get the rest of the glue off.

I used my fingers, but I got half way through the fiesta badge (Stood at work, wasn't really a serious attempt) and chickened out because I thought i'd regret it, so it should come off pretty easy, but I would reccomend what Elward said to heat it up, then yeah, a credit card would do it.
just stick it back on with some sort of glue, tiger seal, worlds your oyster really, anything sticky

i wouldnt mind but i do all the work on my girlfriends car as well ive just done a headgasket for her friday took it off and yesterday put it all back together lol. and all i wanna do is do a few things to the car or wash it or come on here. lol that would be a nevee ending thread if we ever done aboiut their dislikes.

On the subject of anything sticky and the missis, use duck tape to shut her up. . .

Managed to do it tonight, missus watched a dvd while i was doing it and actually showed an interest when i had done lol. Went ok just left with glue marks where the badge was so will look into getting rid of this when i get some more time

it ust shows ya that when ya get the misses into something they dont mind it when ya do something you want. like my fiancee dont mind me being on here when shes watching eastenders because i cant stand it, just because she happy im finally allowed to be happy and do something not the other way round it dont work. when i want to do something and she dont, your not allowed to do it.
