Haha, I know! I've found a few things whilst working on the car that are just stupid. For instance he had forgotten to put the pinch bolt on the universal joint on the steering column, meaning it had stupid amounts of play in it. He also hadnt bashed in the studs on the front hubs so they were just loose but the worst was one of the calipers. Instead of the slide pins to allow the caliper to basically work by sliding along them, he had used a bolt, hence meaning the caliper wouldnt move :shock:

All sorted now tho

Well I'm pleased to say she is finally finished as from yesterday! Was a hell of alot of messing around I can tell you, changed almost every engine part to find out why she wasnt running right and it turns out it was a faulty MAP sensor and a vacuum leak. Always seems easy with hindsight!

Ah well, at least it means she has had an even more thorough going over anyway!

Cant believe how well its all worked out too as I finished her yesterday and started my new job today, couldnt of worked better!

All I need to do now is some heat wrapping which Im doing at the weekend then roll on ford fair! Really cant wait now!

Im going to tease you all by not uploading pics so you can all wait till ford fair to see how she's looking now, all Im saying is im very pleased with the outcome of the wheels and all the other work I've done on her

Ooo, she's got a brand new clifford alarm on her now too, so you can all test out the warn away chirp from the proximity sensors at ford fair :lol:

Just soo pleased she's finally done and will make ford fair! 8-)

Driven 138 miles in her so far but alot of that has been test drives up and down the road trying to get the engine sorted. Now she's running well I have driven her properly a couple of times and Im absolutely shocked as to how fast she feels compared to the si! Oh, and Im now totally hooked on booooooooooost :doh:

Also totally hooked on dump valves and 4" scorpion exhaust systems :lol:

Cant wait to drive her all the way to silverstone, gonna be awesome! :chill:

Is the power fairly standard at the moment? Bet it's rapid compared to the si!

Sod the dumpvalve off for some chatter :chill:

I want to see flames out that exhaust :bow:

Completely standard atm mate (apart from k&n and exhaust system) :thumbsup:

Haha, I tried without the dump valve but once you have driven with one your views change and it ends up finding its way back on :lol:

Haha, when she was misfiring bad the exhaust literally banged on overrun, going down the street people literally thought you were shooting at them :lol:

A dumpvalve should be invented that gives off chatter at low boost and dumpvalve sound at high boost :drool:

Did it come with the scorpion on it? I had a look on their site and it didn't have a turbo fiesta system listed
