Would a slower car bother you, as you will guess that kind of money can get you an excellent 1.0-1.4 car with low mileage, the quicker ones cost more or have higher mileage.

Depends how much you want to save really.

You maybe better settling for a 1.4 hatch or 1.6 bigger car then. As I found with my 98bhp focus, its slow but not as bad as you would think.

As you will know it would also use less petrol and be cheaper to tax/insure which if you trying to get your own place these should be quite important.

Got the cougar to go faster but the costs of fuel are a biatch

whereas my diesel was slow but did 70mpg, can't win, unless you could find a high powered diesel for the money

One of these with Remap will see you 160bhp and nearly 400Nm of torque yet will do 50mpg

Has cruise control, climate control lots of toys 0-60 ~ 8 seconds bit more has 6 gears

has funky bodykit (standard from factory) i thought you could get 2.0 ones but can only find 1.8's. which are nippy enough.

well bank can't do anyting yet so no rush now

Right a long story, thought i was losing my job and needed a loan to sell the ST, and i was going to buy Jason's Si to burn around in but the bank won't help me so i can't sell the ST, and i also can't afford to keep 2 cars or get the money for jason's Si.

Plus side is that i am not losing my job

The ST is staying now, and it is a bit different

The flexi i sold to my mate Stu, as i thought it was going so i need to replace that at some point, so i'm back to 160bhp

It has Mk6 fiesta headlights fitted as i swapped them with rob as i thought it was going but i like the look

K+N is still going strong

Power steering pump is fecked though, its back to being noisy

Kirsty is buying me a quickshift and i'll treat my self to leads and Black/Red Ford badges at ford fair

It's not so much the fact i am stuck with it, (well i am) but i do love it

i only got this st as i somehow managed to get 4 new tyres, service and a mot thrown it for £700 off

just need to do the power steering pump as its pissing me off
