i now know why i chose green for my engine bay, brightens it up no end

looking good wish i had stuck to plan of bike carbs, lot easier to set up than throttle bodies,
as for wiring just been throught this, the oil pressure dash light is the 4way (2wires) connector behind the coolant header bottle green/brown wire, as picture. rev counter is green wire engine bay going into main loom think its pin 2, as for coolant temp gauge i gave up with this as think it was faulty anyway and fitted a separate one.

As for your Rs its not standard its running the escort Rs turbo T3, curious to why you have took the arch lining off as well and as for the spacers they go between your wheel and hub, and get em from demon tweeks.

Arch liners are normally removed on fiesta when using larger wheels and being lowered, they cause no end of problems depending what size wheels and what height drop you have, I'm never gonna run them again

removing the arch liners dont it get all the engine bay dirty and all that or not? i want to do that with mine becuase i just think that it look cool but its going to get the whole lot proper dirty though init?

Its alive and running. Had a few problems with it misfiring/lack of fuel but to the carbs back off and gave them a good check over and reset the balance and mixture screws and all is fine now.

Havent spent alot of time on it really, Got seats fitted and harnesses in. Strut braces fitted aswell. Sorted some wiring out and re-taped the loom back up. Cracked paint on rocker cover a little so will repaint an old one and fit that once its all properly back together so i dont damage it again.

This weekend will hopefully see it ready to be driven again so a few thing to do

Good hover and wash/poss polish
Refit my oil pressure light/temp sensor and rev counter loom that i made for it
Remove the 25mm hubcentric spacers from the back and fit my 10mm spacers and longer studs which ive noe found
Short shifter and gearknob
Adjust the coilovers to suit new wheels/stripped shell
Maybe my 285mm brakes but there the last thing to do and not really a priority as the brakes seem ok

Things to do over the next few weeks

Fit armtech rev limiter/full throttle gearshift that im going to order at the weekend
Rs accessories rear lights thats i got off here
Twin antiroll bar conversion
Sort some kind of cold air supply from the fog lights/front bumper to give the carbs a bit more air and remove bulkhead cover panel. Any ideas for cold air supplys??

Pics at the weekend hopefully when its finished to how i want if for now.

im no mechanic but im a qualified engineer sadly im not in that line of work anymore so dont have access to the machines to knock up some one off bits
i will have a see on t'net for some info
what carbs you using?
size etc?
