just upraste the turbo to a T3. look after it. and itll be fine! dump valves are lush!

you would need custom mounts fabricated to put the zetec lump in
that tappy noise youv got is ur tappets probably? ther a beee atch lol
the rs cvh lump would be sweet in ur motor you would only need a stanard spec (132 hp) an that would be plenty quick.......................... till you get the bug
the key to keeping a cvh alive is obsessively regular services

What your meant to say chris is that that tapping noise means that your engine is severely damaged and its not only a danger to you but everyone around you and the only way to repair it is to ut the rst lump in immedetly ha ha ha!!!

I dunno, A dump valve isn't expensive I shouldn't think, it just bolts on to let the air out and go PSSSHHHHHT when you change gear.

i owned a '86 daihatsu charade gti 1.0 turbo (google it)
it was from oz and was fantastic with the chatter being a 3cylinder made it sound sweet on boost and no im not jokin it was a mad lil car lol
i liked the chatter bk then
wish i still had it tbh

well ive been working at the womens open this week and have had a lot of time to read fast ford and the haynes and all that! i really dont think i could keep up with the constant services of the cvh turbo, let alone my 1.4! so heres the new plan: build up another years no claims, buy a 1.6 si and do the 2.0 mondy im all for the turbo but i think i might do a tango and turbo it later on

No dump valves just realease all the air the turbo creates, like a waste gate.
Chatter Stalls the turbo, and can decrease the life of you turbo.
So when is this gonna be done?

ahh right! well i looked at some prices at it was between 60-100.
might youtube it because i dont think ive heard chatter!
hopefully once i get insured when i have the money, and have got some more money after paying for that, then i know it shouldnt be too expensive, around 500 maybe? then buy it and begin the work, maybe buy the lump too.

but ill keep my 1.4 for the mo, do some exterior changes such as rims, maybe lower it too and fit an exhaust just to keep me occupied, and i suppose it can go onto the 1.6! tihnk i might have a look at some 1.6's though! let me know if you come across any, same go's for everyone else

UPDATE: got a tattoo today and on the way back i figured instead of saving all my insurance money, i can pay it monthly as ive been offered a job in SUBWAY
so im currently trying to find some cheap quotes. need to get rid of the sorn, get tax, MOT then its back at my house so i can start work instead of having to trekk to formby.
so fingers crossed i can make it to sixfieldsss!

scamp, do you know about sorns? i sorned my vehicle when i couldnt afford the insurance, so is all i have to do is get tax and its back on the road or do i have to let them know or what? because the website isnt very helpful.

i think you would have to jus re-tax your car tbh
the internet will let them know i think it just goes into database on the mainframe
they send you a tax disc out and your drivin
or you can do it at tthe postie aswel so you kno for sure like
