Well not really, but you know... This isn't really a help me thread, just a little whine about it!

I've already posted about the MAF, nice fun times with the engine there. I've also got to replace the entire suspension all round. I took off the rear struts to find the springs cracking and the shocks actually wobbled in my hand! It also looks like I had no gas/oil left in them, no idea which as it's completely gone. The drivers side of the sill has rotted, so that's got to come off as well and annoyingly, the passenger side looks brand new still. The front wishbones are going to be changed as well as the bushes are going. Haven't had the time to check the CV joints, though I'm guessing they're ok from the driving feel, what I can feel anyway. The tyres have a leak, all of them, suspect the glue on the edges was either not put on or was crap as the harder I drive round corners the faster the pressure goes.

I'm not exactly on a big wage either, so it's going to be a fight to get everything sorted before the MOT in October! Tax gets in the way in September as well. I think I need to go round all the roads I tend to drive on and take pictures. The roads in Derby are all on the edge of unsafe potholes everywhere, so I might try making a claim on the basis the general poor state has caused damage over a very short period...

alright dude, i gotta get new suspension all round aswell and a new MAF also haha covenient eh??

im assuming u have the mark 3.5 e.g the 94 to 95 model, i found this suspension kit at a not to bad price

hope this helps out, mabey some people with a bit more know how can confirm this is for the 3.5 aswell as i dont wanna buy them if they aint gonna fit, heard the front dampers are slightly bigger on the 3.5 model compaired to the mark 3 which is 89 to 93 i beleve agian correct me if im wrong, still learnin

my advice would also be to sorn it in september (providing you can still get to work without it) as you will save cash in fuel etc

For an si, anything front end suspension is different to an rs or xr.
