Wow that does look good, is that polisher hard to use? For £20 you can't go wrong! Would you recommend it because i'm tempted to go get one! :lol:

Thanks all. After giving a much bigger blast than I normally would last night, it's made me smile more. Seemed to smoke less the more beans it got throughout the night, unsure if anyone can confirm they saw a lot less smoke from the exhaust?

I'll bring my open filter to the next meet so everyone can hear induction noise from a teg!

Hopefully see you and Andy at the North meet, Olly. You can decide how much you like them after that! :)

It better be turbo joy and nothing but! I'm looking at reliablitity so I'm not chasing silly power, and I'm looking at getting a few extra goodies from the software I'm going for. Someones just had their N/A system mapped with the following little extra's whacked in for free:

VTEC point changed to 4200 with a feature in 5th gear of the VTEC only cutting in if throttle is wide open (I think) after 3800 and before 5600, otherwise it reverts to 5600rpm
Shift light at 8600rpm (using the engine management light) (8900rpm limit)
Ability to fault diagnose using the throttle - it uses the engine management light and the key in the 2nd position in the car.
Launch Control

Which is pretty sweet :D I'll be getting mine setup to limit boost in each gear due to the FWD nature of the car. If I can limit boost per RPM that would be even better. Will have to see what I can do when we get down to it.

She didnt seem to be smoking that bad on the way back but I must admit at one stage you gave it some and there was a distinct smell of burning oil coming through the air vents :rolleyes: :lol:

She will be awesome when done (even more so than she is already! :chill: )

Yeah passenger rides for sure Dave, :) as long as it's not throwing it down with rain! you get a bit of torque steer into 2nd and 3rd sometimes depending on the surface so not exactly something to thrape in the wet and get the most out of it!

Graham doesn't know it yet but I will be having his 16" JDM alloys in place of my 15" UKDM alloys when it's turbo'd! :lol:

Paul - Buy something with bollocks before you have 3 wives and 8 kids for gods sake! :lol: Another reason why I'm turboing this is because the engine isn't powerful enough to really test the chassis as it is anyway, it really is that good.

Still, things do to in the meantime, sort out the knocking from my suspension, suspect a wishbone, ARB or cv joint, get my front brake discs and pads sorted before the MOT in Jan, and get a stainless b pipe as mine already has a weld that's seen it's brighter days.
