I really would put the repair first, as mentioned if you crash now the car is already weaker so it could lead to more damge to the car and yourself/passengers.

i'm gonna be putting money aside for it, but I have to pay £300 for the car a month, £140 for insurance, Rent, petrol, phone, and general outgoings, so i'm trying to put £20 away for tax a month, then I owe people bits here and there still its hard to pay another £300 out right But it will get done, it'll just be a slow saving process to get it done, I won't be buying anything expensive modification wise until it is, its just I sold my wheels and it was my birthday so I thought i'd treat myself to a K&N for £40 posted I couldn't complain!

well tbh it isnt particarly a big job, just get a few of your mates, tie a good thick rope doubled up washing line will do lol, put it in gear and hand brake right up and start tugging, if it straightens out, good stuff,
then find someone who can weld, fit a piece of flat bar and have it tacked in place over the front, weld along the sides of the bar, jobs done, it should have some rigity in a bumb then

but for the love of god get them cheap lights off it! its a Zetec S it has some honor to uphold

some MHW's would far better suit it, or even some simple euro lights would be a worthy upgrade

get on a german Ebay site and search for a L/h side rear mk4/5 lamp!!

Lol you won't catch me spending £100 for a set of rear lights.
There's nothing wrong with my rear lights they look good. Going to respray them to get the scratches out when I get my can in the post.

What makes them cheap? Lol there just sprayed standards. Lots of people do it.
I can't find a pic of euro lights. But I doubt they'll be to my taste. Like black wheels and people telling me to paint the bit under my grill black. We test did it on my car with someone it's was gash.
I think they look good maybe spraying the while thing would be better but cba with the MOT hassles

euro lights are just standard lights but with out a reverse light, so theyre completely red (slight orange too) they look much better

With all the black plastic on the car personally i like the rear lights i think it suits the car

Want to improve? Get yourself some Meguiars (sp?) tyre gel make them uber shiny and lasts weeks, fantastic stuff

I didn't actually spray my tyres as I ran out of the tyres foam xD So when I am planning on a clean next i'll go and grab some, Thank you.

Also. I got the pressure washer and gave my arches and skirts a quick spray in and around, I heard that to prevent rust a little its best to keep cleaning those areas, is that ok to do? From a distance just spraying with the washer, I dunno if this will hurt the suspension or anything, I know the rain gets in there anyway But just a little paranoid.

Well I had some fun yesterday with my car doing little bits and bobs.
Got the heater control valve changed so I get hot and cold air, during this time I was asked "whats the temperature gauge reading?" So I said " ermmm. Between like the middle.. And the (paused for thought) and the bottom? Oh wait..! A Quater "

And also while waiting for it to bleed I started it and it wouldn't start, my friends said it was the fuel pump, started stressing out, revving it and it was dying and my friend said looks like you'll need a lift home! So I got a bit upset, was asking about costs to fix it and then he laughed after a while and said, "i'm only joking, i was pulling out your lead!" twat!

And heres what else we did

Sprayed my grill with tinting spray black, So that you can't see the ford badge outline, looks quite smart. Matches the bottom but dosen't stand out as much. And cold air feed



Smoked repeaters



And re did my lights so there nice and shinnnny look so much better.




So yeah had a fun couple hours and a few laughs but it looks better now I think, some people didn't like the idea but liked it after and one person hates it, but that person owns this escort..

So his opinion dosen 't really matter to me :lol:
