Good good, cant wait to see them fitted. The wheels were the only thing that pulled your car down when I saw it at the rr day, looked lovely apart from them. Will look lush now :chill:

Hopefully I can have a proper good look if you manage to make sunday 8-)

Wheels have been put on today and make the car look a lot better! I prefer it over the standard white colour, and even more so than the standard grey colour.

They're slightly darker than standard grey, but not too dark that they're black. Pics soon!

Took a couple of snaps today of the wheels I refurbed, nothing great.

Excuse the dirty car, wheel paste on the alloys and the rusty callipers - it's on my hit list to sort out :wack:

Didn't take any close up sparkle pictures as I didn't have time! Quite pleased with the result for saying it wasn't a full on effort!

Thanks guys! Think I've got most of the big jobs sorted out on the car now.

You can spend time using nitromoors, faffing about etc like I did, or if you know of a woodwork place near you, take the alloys to them to see if they can dip it in their paint stripping tank. Like the one I realised they have 3 doors down from me :doh:

I've had to spray mine for piece of mind though, as you risk snapping these alloys if you have them powdercoated, as the baking process puts them to a temp that these Enkei alloys don't seem to like, which I thought was myth until someone posted about it all on the ITR forum! about 24 quid in spray can paint. 12 quid in primer. 6 quid in laquer. and some sanding paper, and you're away.

Got a 2nd set to refurb now :halo:

Waiting for an amp to arrive soon, then I just need some wiring, a box and a headunit and I have some decent soundage going on!

Also looking out for a cheap upper strut brace for the rear, as they were optional extras on the UK models it seems!

Bought a porter cable polisher from Tesco the other day for a bargain £19.99 - does the job so well! So used to Autoglym super resin polish to remove a few marks and then some Turtlewax to seal it up which I've had knocking around for a few years.

Quite dark shots, and excuse the dings in the doors. Worked a treat though :thumbsup:
