your some times better to get a full sill.. when i put a sill on i put the sill over it then i mark the old sill by scratching with a nail then i know were to cut the old sill off also as the sill was spot welded on i get a spot weld remove bit ...

when i put the new sill on i make shure it fits and then i take the old paint of also i drill the new sill with 6mm holes long the bottom edge about 25mm space between each and also on the top edge then when the sill is ready to weld i nomal weld though the holes and makes it look like a spot weld ..then mig the rest up

P.S only drill the new sill
